Understanding the War in Ukraine - With Katrina vanden Heuvel (PART 1)
In the first part of this interview series, we have a contextual conversation with The Nation's editorial director and publisher Katrina vanden Heuvel about the war in Ukraine. We explore the question of whether Russia's war in Ukraine was at all legitimate, and examine why Russia failed to integrate politically with the West. We also talk about NATO's role and the state of U.S. politics with regard to Ukraine. The second part of this interview, which deals with the latest developments in the war in Ukraine, will be published in the coming days.
